Responsibilities
Welcoming guests and presenting all the services available to them at the property and reporting any anomalies encountered during check ins and check outs.
Supervising, cleaning and tidying the rooms with care and efficiency and in line with the hotel's standards.
Restocking in-room supplies, and monitoring stocks of cleaning materials and linen.
Reporting any problems or damage.
Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Solving problems related to cleanliness and the comfort of our guests.
Working closely with other team members to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Attributes
Previous experience as a housekeeping manager or room boy preferably in a luxury hotel.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to prepare meals and drinks for guests.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
An eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
Fluency in Sinhala, with good English skills.
